
In the above picture, I am "On Stage", playng for the dance at
Essington W.M.C., near Wolverhampton. The dance floor was full,
lots of people attending, including a gentleman celebrating his 94th
Birthday. "Congratulations Tom !"

The above picture was also taken on Thursday 1st April. Everyone
said they had a good night and we look forward to our next visit
on Saturday 24th April.

On the evening of Saturday 27th March I played music for a dance
in aid of a Cancer Charity at Brandall Conservative Club, Tividale,
near Dudley, West Midlands.
Nida and I had a good time and during a Line Dance we were
entertained by a horse and rider, who turned out to be non-other than
our friend Brian!

Here is a picture taken at Quarry Bank Conservative Club on the
evening of Sunday 21st March 2010, where I am seen on stage
playing for the dancers.
The room has recently benefited from a major refurbishment and
really looks good. We enjoyed meeting friends there again.

We paid a return visit to the village of Elford on Saturday evening,
20th March 2010. There was a good attendance and we enjoyed
our night there. Nida took some pictures, one of which apears above.

There was a good attendance at the Athletic Club, Kettering on the
evening of Wednesday 17th March, where Kettering Solo Club held
a St. Patrick's Night Dance.
As the above picture shows, some of the members dressed for the
occasion, even some of the lights were green!!

The above picture was taken later that evening. Although some of the
lights had turned red, the evening still had an Irish flavour!!

On the evening of Saturday 13th March our venue was Willenhall
Leisure Centre, near Walsall.
This centre is under threat of closure at the moment. We hope that
it can be kept open for the benefit of the community.

We had an enjoyable time on March 10th. I was booked to play for
the Wednesday Afternoon Club Tea Dance at St. Chad's Parish
Centre, Sedgley.
Quite a lot of action on the dance floor as can be seen in the above
picture and a very friendly crowd

On Saturday 6th March 2010 Nida and I headed for Wombourne
Civic Centre, where I was booked to play for the Dinner and Dance.
In the above picture, I am playing live music during the meal.

After dinner there was dancing until almost midnight and we had a
really good time. It's always a pleasure to play here, a good size
dance floor, and a really friendly crowd.

I was booked to play at the local "Combined Ex. Services Annual
Dinner and Dance on the evening of 5th March 2010. This was held
at St. Mary's Centre, Cannock, Staffs.
We enjoyed a delicious roast beef dinner and a really good night.

On the evening of 24th February 2010 we headed for Polesworth
W.M.C., where I was booked to play for the Wednesday Night Dance
Club. Good to see so many people attending and plenty of action on
the dance floor. It was good to share the evening with friends who
were out for a good time.

On the evening of Saturday 20th February 2010 we paid a return
visit to the Austin No. 5 Club at Longbridge near Birmingham.
I really enjoy playing at this venue. Nida took some pictures, one
of which is included here. The dance was well attended and we
would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome given to us.

The "Full House" sign went up at Lea Hall Allotments Club on the
evening of Saturday 13th January 2010.

Its always a pleasure to be invited here and Nida and I will look
forward to our next visit.

On Thursday 28th January Nida and I were invited to attend a
Christmas Dinner and Dance at the Tower Suite, Drayton Manor
Park. This was hosted by our good friends Ernie and Dora.
We had Lunch, followed by dancing, then tea and mince pies,
followed by dancing till 5pm. It a was really enjoyable day out.
In the picture, Nida is seen having a good time on the dance floor.

On the evening of Saturday January 23rd 2010 our venue was
High Hill W.M.C., Essington. There was a good attendance as
can be seen in the above view from the stage. It's a real pleasure
to play here and Nida and I enjoyed the night and meeting friends.

On the evening of Saturday January 16th, Nida and I received a
warm welcome at Linden House, Wolverhampton, where I played
for the Dinner and Dance.
This was organised by a local "Support Group" and was a very
enjoyable evening. Our thanks go to all who attended.

We go walking, even in the snow. Cannock Chase is an area
that we visit quite often. The above picture was taken on January
4th 2010 and shows Nida well "wrapped up" against the cold.

Cannock Chase is home to a variety of interesting wildlife, which we
like to see.
Whilst out walking on January 4th 2010 we saw some deer. I quickly
managed to take the above picture. She seemed to be putting her
tongue out at me!

Nida and I enjoyed a visit to the Severn Valley Railway on Sunday
3rd January.
It was nice to take a leisurely ride through the countryside after the
festivities at Christmas and New Year.
In the picture, our train is at Kidderminster, preparing to depart for
Bridgnorth.

Nida and I had a really enjoyable New Years Eve at St. Chad's
Parish Centre, Sedgley.
These folks are always out for a good time.

Whilst I was "On Stage" for most of the night, Nida was having fun
on the Dance Floor.

I did come down from the stage from time to time, as you can see
from the picture.
We had a good mixture of Ballroom, Sequence. Pop and Line
Dancing.

We had another enjoyable time at the Remembrance Club, Castle
Bromwich on the evening of Sunday 13th December. We received
the usual warm welcome and wish to thank all those who attended.

The above picture was taken on the evening of Thursday 3rd
December 2009. It shows some of the dancers at Halesowen
Members' Club and "Yours Truely" on stage!

On Wednesday 11th December 2009 Nida and I headed for Drayton
Manor Park in Staffordshire, where I was booked to play music for a
Christmas Dance Party.
Lunch was served at 12-30pm, during which, I played background
music. This was followed by dancing until 5pm with an interval for
mince pies and coffee.

We really enjoyed our visit to this fine venue and wish to thank the
dancers for inviting us and will look forward to the next time.
