Dancers At Castle Bromwich

The Sunday Evening Dance at Castle Bromwich Remembrance Club,

near Birmingham, was well attended on April 5th 2009.

Nida and I have made a lot of friends there and in the Castle Bromwich

area. They always make us welcome.

On the evening of Sunday 22nd March our venue was the

Aldridge Social Club.

On this occasion I was working close to home, this club being

only a couple of miles from our house.

It was good to share an evening with friends and neighbours

once again.

The evening of Monday 16th March saw us at the Liberal Club,

Bedworth.

Here, I am pictured "on stage", playing for a large group of dancers.

This venue is really well attended and we always enjoy our visits

there.

Dinner And Dance At Wombourne.

Dinner And Dance At Wombourne.

On the evening of Saturday 28th February Nida and I travelled to

Wombourne Civic Centre, South Staffordshire.

In the picture, I am seen playing music during dinner, which was

attended by more than 130 people, who made good use of the

dance floor afterwards until almost midnight.

A good amount of money was raised for charity at this event

and a good time was had by all.

On the evening of Saturday 21st February we enjoyed meeting

friends again at Willenhall. It was really good to see everyone

on the dance floor. Hope to see you all again soon.

"Where Did You Get That Hat?"

Nida and I took a ride on the Severn Valley Railway on Sunday

15th February. Having arrived back at Kidderminster Town

Station, we met some friends who had also travelled on the

train. Someone suggested that we take some pictures and Nida

took the one above after a member of staff put a cap on my head!!

Saturday February 14th saw us at the Memorial Hall. Atherstone

in Warwickshire, where I was booked to play for the Valentine's

Dance.

This turned out to be a very enjoyable evening, attended by a

larger than expected crowd, a really good atmosphere.

Park Hall, Wythall.

On Saturday 7th February 2009 we had a great evening at the

Park Hall Community Hall, Wythall, near Birmingham.

This was a Dinner and Dance, hosted by Park Hall Dance Club.

I really enjoyed playing the music.

Charity Dance At Brandall.

Charity Dance At Brandall.

On the evening of Saturday 31st January 2009 we visited

Brandall Conservative Club. I was booked to play

music for a dance, the proceeds of which, to go to a

Cancer Charity.

These dances are held periodically throughout the year

and are well attended.

We received our usual warm welcome. We wish to

thank Sheila and Brian for sending to us the above

picture, taken by Brian on that evening

We had a great New Year's Eve Dance Party at

the Catholic Club, Sedgley.

As usual, everyone was in a real party mood.

In the picture, I have come down from the stage

and joined in with a Line Dance.
