The Sunday Evening Dance at Castle Bromwich Remembrance Club,
near Birmingham, was well attended on April 5th 2009.
Nida and I have made a lot of friends there and in the Castle Bromwich
area. They always make us welcome.
The picture shows a busy dance floor, taken from the stage.

On the evening of Sunday 22nd March our venue was the
Aldridge Social Club.
On this occasion I was working close to home, this club being
only a couple of miles from our house.
It was good to share an evening with friends and neighbours
once again.

The evening of Monday 16th March saw us at the Liberal Club,
Bedworth.
Here, I am pictured "on stage", playing for a large group of dancers.
This venue is really well attended and we always enjoy our visits
there.

On the evening of Saturday 28th February Nida and I travelled to
Wombourne Civic Centre, South Staffordshire.
In the picture, I am seen playing music during dinner, which was
attended by more than 130 people, who made good use of the
dance floor afterwards until almost midnight.
A good amount of money was raised for charity at this event
and a good time was had by all.

On the evening of Saturday 21st February we enjoyed meeting
friends again at Willenhall. It was really good to see everyone
on the dance floor. Hope to see you all again soon.
The above picture was taken on that evening.

Nida and I took a ride on the Severn Valley Railway on Sunday
15th February. Having arrived back at Kidderminster Town
Station, we met some friends who had also travelled on the
train. Someone suggested that we take some pictures and Nida
took the one above after a member of staff put a cap on my head!!

Saturday February 14th saw us at the Memorial Hall. Atherstone
in Warwickshire, where I was booked to play for the Valentine's
Dance.
This turned out to be a very enjoyable evening, attended by a
larger than expected crowd, a really good atmosphere.

The above picture was also taken on this night. We look forward
to our next visit on Saturday 19th September 2009.

On Saturday 7th February 2009 we had a great evening at the
Park Hall Community Hall, Wythall, near Birmingham.
This was a Dinner and Dance, hosted by Park Hall Dance Club.
I really enjoyed playing the music.
The above picture was taken on that evening.

The above was a view from the stage, taken by Nida, over
my shoulder.

The above picture shows another view from the stage,
this time during a Line Dance.
Hope to see you all again soon.

On the evening of Saturday 31st January 2009 we visited
Brandall Conservative Club. I was booked to play
music for a dance, the proceeds of which, to go to a
Cancer Charity.
These dances are held periodically throughout the year
and are well attended.
We received our usual warm welcome. We wish to
thank Sheila and Brian for sending to us the above
picture, taken by Brian on that evening

We had a great New Year's Eve Dance Party at
the Catholic Club, Sedgley.
As usual, everyone was in a real party mood.
In the picture, I have come down from the stage
and joined in with a Line Dance.

Nida is seen enjoying herself on the dance floor.

Here is general picture of the dance floor after midnight.

It's 1-30am and nearly time to go home.
Here we are with the Christmas Tree.
